Part-Time Maternity Cover – Social Media Coordinator
This role requires expertise in social trends and metrics, content creation, and collaboration within the betty and biddy team to shape the brand’s social presence.
The goal is to be revolutionary in social media approaches in styling and jewellery with prioritising consumer satisfaction and redefining content strategies.
Responsibilities

Lead social media campaigns to support product launches, collections and key business objectives.

Generate weekly content schedules for all social media platforms and schedules for execution of that content and map them out on a shared platform (canva).

Maintain and update the marketing calendar, ensuring it includes press release schedules, campaign launch dates, email newsletters, and key holidays.

Curate user-generated content (UGC) through manual sourcing and relationship-building.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of Meta and Google Ads, collaborating closely with our team to optimise effectiveness.

Maintain organisation of all social assets. Images from all photoshoots must be filed in Canva so they can be easily accessible to all team members.

Foster and maintain active engagement with our audience through comments, messages, and community building.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries and feedback on social media platforms.

Liaise with social media influencers based on our database and set up new projects.

Work with wider team on influencer collaboration, identifying and collaborating with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand reach. Be innovative in coming up with fresh content ideas to help scale the brand online.

Utilise social media analytics tools to track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs).

Generate regular reports, providing insights and recommendations for optimising social media strategies.

Distribute monthly press releases to media outlets in Ireland and the UK, and coordinate gifting press drops of new collections to publications in both regions.

Create and send weekly email newsletters using Klaviyo and Canva, ensuring alignment with the marketing calendar and featuring new product launches, bestsellers, promotions, events, and holidays.

Assist on brand photoshoots for scouting locations, styling, model sourcing and coordination of campaigns.

Conduct weekly catch-ups with the social media intern to coordinate messaging across social platforms, provide guidance, and ensure they are meeting their objectives.
- This role will be part time hours, Monday to Friday 9am-1pm with the option of two days working remotely.
Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in social media, ideally in the fashion, styling, or jewellery industry.

Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva), social media scheduling platforms, and analytics tools.

Strong understanding of social media trends, metrics, and best practices.

Excellent organisational skills with experience managing content calendars and asset databases.

Confident communicator with a passion for fostering community engagement.

Experience collaborating with influencers and working within cross-functional teams.
